I wear one daily and I cannot help it but notice when I see one around. This crochet one is the lingering image I have got in my mind after seen the BBC production "We will take Manhattan". Is shows the making of the iconic photo shoot session in New York by David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton, which was the making of both their careers. More about Bailey and Shrimpton in the blog French Sampler. More photos of David Bailey here.

Last night I went tango dancing, and danced a lot. There was something missin in the milonga, we had a new DJ playing what was very danceable music, but... drowwwsy, monooootonous and without any accent whatsoever. You could go to sleep with it, as J said while dancing and mocking a yawn.
How I mised something upbeat, playful like an Enrique Rodriguez milonga or a surprise to keep me on my toes like this rumba I just discovered a few minutes ago. Well there will be more milongas.

Among the Courtauld Institute of Art exhibits at the Material Matters student show at Somerset House in London. From 20th January 2012 – July 2013. See the whole process of setting up the biannual exhibition and related news on their blog EastWing. I never saw it before so this time I am not missing it.
