Pajaro en mano - Bird in hand

Y es que me ha dado por los pajaros,  me gustan bastante como tema para mis manualidades. Estos de papel y metal, los hice ayudandome de este tutorial que encontre en Charcoal & Crayons.

Well not exactly, more like birdmaking. I like birds as crafting subjects, they are so cheerful. The top one was my first try, the rest came along the following day, with the help of  this tutorial from Charcoal & Crayons.

Jugando con las lacas de uñas, a ver si mejoro la tecnica. Aqui despues de tres dias y sin esmalte protector.

 Con falta de aire fresco despues de pasar un dia en cama gracias a una migraña, el domingo necesitaba aire fresco . Asi que decidi hacer de turista  y me pasee  desde Bayswater hasta el British Museum. Descubri un monton de cosas, entre ellas Treadwell's una libreria esoterica, pero  me atrajeron sobre todo cosas azules.

After losing Saturday to a migraine and feeling a bit better on Sunday I was in need of fresh air. I went for a walk between Bayswater and the British Museum, for some reason unknown I kept noticing blue things…and I found an unusual bookshop, Treadwell's  which specializes in esoteric, pagan and spiritual material.

El que ha creado la artista japonesa Toshiko Horiuchi en el Hakone Open Air Museum de Saporo en Japon.  Las reaciones de los chiquillos a ver sus esculturas fue la inspiracion para esta obra, que desborda color e imaginacion.
