Bichos - Bugs

Ha pasado una plaga por mi armario y unos bichos se han quedado en mi falda.

Bichos a punto - Knitted Critters

Habeis visto los bichos que teje Hansi Singh. Me tienen ensimismada, los detalles anatomicos que parecen perfectos y esos colores tan alegres que ha escogido. A ver si hubiera suerte encuentro el libro por la biblioteca y si no pues me lo auto-regalo. Mas sobre Hansi en esta entrevista de Craftzine.

Have you seen the critters that Hansi Singh knits. I am enthralled by them, all the detail that she has depicted, almost anatomically perfect and the colors she is using. Now lets see if I am lucky and the book is available at the local library, or will have to give myself a pressie.

Cisne negro

Me encantan estos posters que han creado los britanicos del estudio LaBoca para anunciar la pelicula . Ese aire retro con diseño simetrico y angular . El uso de bloques de colores en blanco, negro y rojo me recuerda los dibujos de Renee Gruau. A la venta aqui. El caso es que me gustan los bichos y pajaros como temas para decorar o personalizar prendas tanto de ropa como hogar.

I like the retro looking design of these posters from British design studio LaBoca for the Black Swan film. Its angular symmetry reminiscent of early 20th century work. The use of blocks of colours on black, red and white reminds me of Renee Gruau's work. On sale here. I have a weakness for critters and animal forms as themes to use to customise clothing or linen.

Aqui viene la plaga - The plague

Mas bichos por aqui. Estos a ganchillo y aplicados a la toalla que le regalé a mi hermana. No le van mucho las flores y se me ocurrio repetir diseño.

There are some bugs around here. These ones are crocheted and apliqued on a towel I gave to my sister. The design is a repeat of this one I used earlier on .

Fashion Amigurumi

No solo las flores sirven como adorno, prefiero las mariposas, me encantan un monton los insectos . Y parece que a mas gente a juzgar por estas fotos.
