Portalibros - Book Carrier
I like the funtionality and ingenuity of Furoshiki, the japanese art of wrapping things on cloth. There is a such a feeling of accomplishment in using something for a different purpose than it was originally made for. This book carrier is a beauty in its simplicity.

Papel Picado
Ever since I went to see a Day of the Death exhibition at the Museum of Mankind I have been fascinated by the way they celebrate in Mexico. I like all that colourful cut paper. I think am going to try my hand at making my own "papel picado", after seeing this inspiring video.

Potingues - Concoctions
I am not happy with the way my hair feels after a wash. For a while I have been investigating preparing my own shampoo, and while doing so I came accross some recipes for other beauty products and thought about trying my hand at making them. Last saturday I prepared my first moisturizing cream, with beeswax, almond oil, rosewater and geranium oil. It has a few lumps but overall I am happy with this first attempt.
Editado para incluir receta
Ingredientes - Ingredients
Heat the wax on a bowl placed over simmering water, stirring until melted. Leave to cool for 5 m. Add the almond oil, stirring to mix it. The mix will thicken and become lighter in colour. Add the water and essential oil, mix again, spoon it into your container and cool in fridge for 30 m before using it.

Music origami
A music video that I have just discovered.Danish electro-soul from Quadron. I like the lyrics, the styling and the use of paper and origami.
full blood veggie dressed in fur
and your beliefs are in a blur
the benetton colors are so true
just not on the beach next to you
maybe its time for some self interrogation
but you already chose your final destination
saving the whales during the day
but at night your making them pay
this is why
you think you're on track
and never falling back
tell your little conscience that
you think you're on track
and never falling back
you can't keep on preachin
like its your sunday meetin
its to buster keaton
maybe theres is no eden
girl, you acting like you still have your corporate
virginity
but there is always a cross for you to bear
politically correct about everything besides yourself
if you could buy a perfume of it you would
you cant keep on preachin...
check it out
take it all
take it all
take it from your all
